What is IPL Aesthetic Treatment?​
IPL Aesthetic Treatment is considered the gold standard for a variety of benign skin discolouration conditions including abnormal pigmentation or blood vessel changes associated with ageing. The IPL Aesthetic treatment is designed to help anyone looking to improve their skin. We help any patient who is interested in erasing skin discoloration. IPL is used to treat brown spots due to excessive sun damage, freckles, sunspots, redness due to blood vessel imbalance, rosacea, telangiectasia (dilated or broken blood vessels), blemishes, acne scarring, and more.

What does the IPL Aesthetic Treatment involve?
The patient's eyes are covered with protective eyecups. Gel is applied to the areas to be treated. A series of light pulses are performed onto the specified areas, where discoloured skin is targeted and absorbs the light energy. Over the course of the next several days the unwanted area of skin discolouration gradually works its way to the surface and dissapears.​ 
IPL Aesthetic Treatment is a non-invasive procedure and is associated with moderate to minimal pain. Typically, little to no disruption of the epithelial skin surface occurs and hence there is very little oozing or crusting afterwards.
Patients may typically return to normal activity immediately afterwards. IPL treatments provide gradual, natural improvement with excellent long-term results. Occasionally, some signs of treatment, such as redness, can last for a few days.

How many IPL Aesthetic Treatments do I need?
On average, 4-6 treatments are recommended, scheduled at 3-4 week intervals, with each session lasting about 20 minutes.

How long does the IPL Aesthetic Treatment last?
Results from a full series of treatments can last up to a year or more.

How much does the IPL Aesthetic Treatment cost?
The IPL Aesthetic Treatment costs $600 per treatment.
